Sugarcane is one of the most versatile crops there is. Though it’s a cyclical crop grown mostly for the sugar industry, its relevance in today’s world is becoming more dynamic than ever.
The most important participant in the growth of sugarcane is the farmer; but, given the immense fragmentation of the market as well as the lack of organization, many a times it is this very farmer who faces the brunt of the situation.
